Club Opportunities: We need a Marketing/PR board member. This role manages our social media (Facebook) and seeks/retains advertisers for our website and newsletter. |
Community Volunteering Opportunities Welcoming Hostesses: The town organises Welcoming Aperos for people who have recently moved to Lucerne 3 times a year. Your role is to accompany the English speaking groups around the town and answer their questions as well as translate the welcoming speeches given by the town's representatives. This role is suitable for people with a good knowledge of the area and of German. English Conversation with Town Employees: Every week we offer the town employees the chance to practice their English with expats. This isn't a class, more a relaxed opportunity for them to practice their English in a friendly environment. You do not have to come to every meeting, as actually a variety of speakers is welcome. |
